Today I encountered this error while trying to install Windows 7 into hard disk drive. I can see the hard disk, create and delete partition however when try to click on Next, an error message appears. Then realised I’ve plug in a USB flash drive.
Solution:
Remove any unused physical drive: e.g. external portable hard disk, flash drive. Leaving only the hard disk drive that you are going to install windows in the system.
