I was installing Windows 7 today. It came to a screen where it say “setup is starting”. It took pretty long to proceed to the next screen perhaps (5-10mins) wait? This is not the first time I’ve install windows on my system. I went into my BIOS and play around. Guess what? It was the floppy drive that was causing the problem! I didn’t have the floppy drive physically installed and usually I would disable floppy drive.
Solution:
1. Go to BIOS
2. Look for Legacy Diskette A or something similar and set it to Disabled.
Legacy Diskette A : Disabled
